Reality TV star, Ifuennada, has responded to criticisms over her outfit to the Africa Movie Viewers Choice Awards, AMVCA.
Ifuennada wore a transformation black dress with human skulls, which had Nigerians, fashion buffs criticising her.
Responding to her critics, the reality star on Sunday disclosed that her entire look to the eighth edition of the AMVCA was worth over $100,000.
She warned that those too broke to afford such money are not qualified to criticize her look, adding that she brought the Hollywood style ‘Met Gala’ to Nollywood.
Her post read: ” First of all, I want to thank everyone who saw and understood the creativity and beauty in my AMVCA Transformer Look last night.
“Now, to those Critics who wrote cr@p about my Look or intentionally posted my Look just to bash me, here’s what I have to say;
“My entire look is worth over 100k USD… Yes you read that right! So if you don’t have a minimum of 10k USD in a domiciliary account, you have no right to speak on my Look.
“Basically, stay away from criticising my outfit if you are a broke a**.”
According to her, her aim of choosing that look was to shake the internet not to win Best dressed which she achieved.
“Lastly, I’m not one to please anyone, I always mind my business and I always do what I want because I really don’t give a fu** about most people. I wanted to scatter everywhere and so far, I think I did just that, so if your existence has not shook the internet at any point in your miserable life, if all you do is sit in a god forsaken cubicle and hate on how people choose to live their lives, DO NOT SPEAK ON MY DRESS.
“PS: The mission was not to win best dressed, but to bring Met Gala to AMVCA and I DID JUST THAT.” [sic].
Mixed reactions trail fans of the popular reality star, Erica Nlewedim, as her outfit to the AMVCA award night reportedly costs N410M.

“It’s was just reconfirmed from a reliable source that awa original butterfly dress was actually $794,000 not $500,000 that I was told. Erica Nlewedim, the queen of the sky, and the ground. ???,” the fan wrote.
Blac Chyna has lost her legal beef with the judge in the Kardashian trial after accusing him of being biased.
The social media star had filed a lawsuit accusing Judge Gregory W. Alarcon of showing an “undeniably hostile and extremely biased” attitude against her and her attorney after she lost her legal battle with the Kardashians.
She had claimed that the judge’s alleged bias worked against her after he tossed Blac Chyna’s mom, Tokyo Toni, outta the courtroom for trashing Kris Jenner and her kids as well as threatening the judge, though she claims it was actually aimed at Kris and not the judge.
According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Chyna lost a motion to disqualify the judge who presided over the defamation trial the Kardashians recently won.
It was gathered that Chyna’s motion ”made no sense” because if she wanted to press a bias claim, she needed to do so during the trial, and not after the trial is over.
Judge Gregory W. Alarcon also fired back at Chyna, saying she provided no legal grounds for disqualification and defending himself as being unbiased.
Veteran actor, Charles Awurum has frowned at some malpractices in Nollywood as he calls for those he described as ‘quarks’ to be removed for Africa’s apex movie industry to stand out.
Noting that money is one of the factors that has destroyed the Nigerian movie industry, Charles submitted that some people join the industry just to acquire fame even when they are not talented.
Pointing out some of the malpractices in the industry, the comic actor claimed some actors and actresses now buy the roles they want to play even when they can’t perform. He also alleged that some of them join the industry for prostitution.
“These are the things you watch that will make you not to want to be part of every production. They also use cameras that are not up-to-date, resulting in works of low quality,” Charles lamented.
The veteran thespian made these revelations while speaking to The PUNCH about his growing up and acting career.
Answering a question on the challenges faced by the industry and the reported inadequate technical know-how in the industry, Charles said: “I didn’t say money is the only issue; I said it is one of the factors that have destroyed the industry. Most people come into the industry, feeling that once in, everything will fall in place. They don’t take their time to learn the technical part of the job, especially production. They want to be this; they want to be that, even though they cannot act.
“Some come and pay for the production and do other things just to have their way and get the fame they want. People are there for different reasons, anyways – some to make fame, some money, not minding the quality of production they do. Some are there for women and some women are there to make name in order to go into other things and have their way in the world and make what they want out of it. Some are there for prostitution and others for reasons best known to them.
“When you are in an industry for the sake of that industry, you make it happen, but when you are there for the sake of other things, you wouldn’t. When you come into the industry, you are there for film sake, to make a name and achieve a goal in that industry, not to go and look for women or do other things that are not important to the production process.
“There are some who come into the industry without even having talents and they don’t want to learn either. They are just there to say that they are into film production and they are messing up the industry. Some even buy the roles they want to play, show off with big cars, give gifts to producers in order to have an edge. You will see an actor who cannot deliver a scene in a movie playing a lead role and they make things difficult for everyone involved in that production. They can go on for days trying to shoot just a scene and the producers wouldn’t still want to change that cast because the person has been benevolent to them. Some even sell roles nowadays. These are the things you watch that will make you not to want to be part of every production that comes.
“This is what is happening there and for lack of money, they also use cameras that are not up-to-date, resulting in works of low quality. But there are still good movies and until we remove those quarks, Nigeria’s movie industry will still be seen as an industry that doesn’t know what it is doing.
